Eight graduate students win Kaneb TA awards for 2006

Eight graduate students from the department of chemistry and biochemistry have won Kaneb Outstanding Teaching Assistants for 2006 for their excellence in leading discussions and laboratory sections.

Departmental graduate teaching awards announced

Katherine Armstrong has been awarded the Emil T. Hofman Award for outstanding teaching in the first year program. The Freeman TA award has been won by Charles Vardeman and the Rudy Bottei Graduate Teaching Award goes to Jeff Carney.

Christopher Harrison wins 2006 SGI Award in Science

The 2006 SGI Award for Computational Science and Visualization has been awarded to Christopher Harrison. The award is sponsored by SGI and recognizes outstanding contributions by Notre Dame graduate students in the areas of computational sciences and visualization.
